Excellent stay
The best B&B I have ever stayed in. Clean, comfortable, lovely breakfast and all the facilities you would need. Thought the Alexa in the room was a great touch. Would recommend this B&B 100%

This property has a EV charger allowing me to charge my EV without having to stop to do so on the way here or back home. Really convenient!

Hervorragende Unterkunft mit bester Lage. Für Wanderer und Radfahrer super geeignet und es gibt viel zu erkunden. Für Adrenalin-Fans zudem bestens geeignet, da Alton Towers nur wenige Minuten entfernt ist. Das B&B ist sehr sauber und mit britischen Charme eingerichtet. Das Bett ist gemütlich und das Zimmer sehr gut ausgestattet. Der Service ist außergewöhnlich gut. Jederzeit höflich und freundlich. Das Frühstück ist ein Traum. Von frischen Himbeeren bis Blackpudding alles vorhanden.

Prime location to stay to visit Alton towers
Perfect place to stay if you’re looking to go to Alton towers for the day/ over a few days! Location is about a 5 minute drive to the park and also the local town is not far at all with supermarkets and pubs for food, would recommenced to book a pub to eat quite early as they seem to fill up quickly and get very busy! Breakfast here was perfect, good amount of choice and fills you up perfectly for a long day at the park walking around! All in all will 100% be our place to stay each time we now visit Alton towers 👏👍

Beautiful location. Comfy beds. Yummy breakfast. Lovely staff! Would highly recommend to anyone looking for somewhere quiet to stay when going to Alton Towers or even just a wee trip down that way!

Short stay made perfect
Great location for visiting Alton Towers, nice and peaceful location. Our room was fab and the facilities were great, mini bar at very reasonable prices and air conditioning was a great extra. Breakfast was scrumpy and I would definitely stay here again and would happily recommend

Lovely B&B
We stayed at this b&b in our recent trip to Alton towers. It was ideal and a 4 minute drive from the park with lots of nice places to eat in Alton and in Cotton! The staff were lovely - breakfast was absolutely delicious both days and the room was large and very comfortable. In a beautiful setting as well! We will definitely be back :)

Faultless
Great location for a trip to Alton Towers with my 9 year old daughter, just a few minutes drive away. Lovely, homely & comfortable accommodation, very friendly owners, great service & great food! Can't fault it at all!

Short but enjoyable.
Friendly and helpful we were impressed by the the welcome we received and the service was exceptional, and unobtrusive.

Great Alton Towers base in a quiet location
5 mins drive from Alton Towers so no getting stuck in the traffic queue. Owners keep a beautiful B and B and supply a great breakfast in a quiet and very rural location. Nice local pub within a 2 min walk but does not do food. Some great recommendations for local pubs/returants within 5mins drive or more are advertised in the lobby - we went to the Star at Cotton which was within a 5min drive and did great food. Definitely looking to stay here when we visit Alton Towers next year. Would have liked to explore the country side a bit more but the weather and walking around AT defeated us every night.

Good B&B Friendly and Cosy
Good B&B owners friendly and very cosy nice rooms recently refurbished it felt, in a stunning location very close to alton towers which is a good benefit for our visit. Only slight hesitatation the breakfast is very basic with small portions but other than it was a very good stay.

If you are in the area or going to Alton Towers, you must stay here. Great room, friendly helpful staff and beautiful breakfast. One day I must return!

Really friendly and welcoming. The extra Halloween touches were also great for the children. Great shout if you are going to Alton Towers and plenty of eating options within a 5 mile radius

Not much to say. Clean hotel, comfortable rooms, friendly staff. Much better alternative to staying at the Alton Towers hotels themselves.

The best stay we have had
It was the most amazing service and experience we could have hoped for - right from arriving it was a very warm and welcoming and the staff were amazing. The room was clean and tidy, they knew it was my birthday so they had birthday banners and confetti on the bed which was a nice touch. The breakfasts had a large range of food, fruit and drink which was tasteful and didn't take long after ordering.

Perfect location for Alton Towers
A wonderful B&B set in an idyllic location - the staff, accommodation and breakfast were all excellent. This was a perfect distance for us to get to Alton Towers - highly recommend this accomodation for a cheaper alternative to staying at the resort.

Nice B&B
Close to Alton towers, in a scenic spot, rooms information was incorrect, got there expecting 3 single beds only to be told we had 1 double and 1single. When asked landlord admitted to the misleading information, was polite but said we could try other accommodations if we're not happy. The last thing you want to do after a long day of driving when you reach the destination is to start looking for accommodations when you are tired and just want to hit the bed.

Excellent location accompanied by very welcoming hosts who provided us with an excellent stay for the weekend. Much recommended for couples and families.

Beautiful B&B
Absolutely amazing B&B. Owners were wonderfully helpful in every way, and had thought of everything! The dining area even had a phone recharge station which came in very helpful as we managed to forget our own. The cooked breakfast was just what we needed, with a yummy veggie alternative for myself. The B&B its self is gorgeous, with such pretty grounds. Barely a 5 minute drive from Alton Towers. Thanks again! :)

A perfect getaway!
Such a beautiful place to stay! The staff couldnt have been more helpful, friendly and welcoming. The Laurel is surrounded by amazing views making it the perfecf getaway. We will certainly be returning asap!

Stunning BnB inside and stunning scenery outside
Beautiful location, gorgeous BnB. Stayed at the Laurels for 2 nights to visit Alton Towers. less than10 mins drive away. chose the 4 poster bed. We are a couple in our 30s looking for thrills of the rides but romantic getaway. Which it all exceeded. Very comfortable bed with amazing ensuite, and gorgeous scenery over looking the hills and village. Breakfast was a very tasty full english. Ideal for romantic getaways. But also familys. Very clean and tidy and decorated and designed beautifuly. Lots of parking. A 2 min walk to the local pub, very friendly villagers there. Or less than a 5 min drive to other pubs shops. 100% We recomend the Laurels, and we will be back. We give this a 5*****
