"Disappointing Stay, Poor Cleanliness and Service
Our family’s stay at Oaks Glenelg Plaza Pier Suites was very disappointing. The room had worn-out sofas and chairs, a blocked bathroom sink that was only fixed on the second day, and an unclean floor drain. Despite this, we were not offered another room due to claimed unavailability. The reception staff were also unfriendly.
What made it worse was finding a letter warning of a $325 deep-cleaning charge if the room was not kept clean, while the...

"Super friendly staff and great location. It had everything we needed and we liked that it had access to extra items from a trolley at reception e.g. toilet paper, soap. The room was a great size. The only thing I would have said is we stayed 7 nights and it would have been nice for the room to be serviced more than once while we were there. Highly recommend though and we would stay there again."

"Room was really comfortable and cosy. Staff were lovely and friendly. Parking available next door in a public park, staff advised they could take a payment but thought it was cheaper to pay directly at the park, but unfortunately when I got down to leave the parking lot charged me $53 for an overnight stay. So my only suggestion would he to pay the hotel for parking. Otherwise, great location, clean, comfy and modern hotel. Would stay again."

"Lovely modern hotel with beautiful furnishing inside the room. Thoughtful inclusions included O&B bath and body products, T2 for adults and packets of crisps for the kids. Filtered water available in the hallway was great too. Would stay again. Room does not have a microwave though so could be a challenge for longer trips if expecting to prepare some simple meals in the room yourself."

"We upgraded our room so we could sit in the spa bath and watch a movie. The blind was broken so you could not lift it up to see the TV and the inbuilt speakers in the bathroom were not working. We had conflicting information from the staff about the blinds. Eventually maintenance told us they were broken in all the rooms. There was no soap provided for the spa bath. No blankets in the room. No mini bar. Could not even get a soft drink from our fridge. Would not stay here again. We were not...
