"This hotel appears as though it was REALLY nice maybe 10 years ago. The 5th floor smells like dog/mildew. The rooms themselves appeared to be clean, but there was absolutely back mold on the top of the roof over the shower. The door going into the bedroom of the suite was also broken and idk if they ran out of linens, but there was a fitted mattress pad folded over on my bed used as one of the blankets on the bed. "No service room was received during my stay, despite it being scheduled. Just one small portion of the worst shampoo I have ever tried. No iron, no dryer. It has a kitchen but no items to use it, no pans, no silverware, literally nothing. It is a cheap option, but that is too austere."

"Well sign in was great , got to.the room and A/C had problems , they called the tech . He came to the room and worked on the unit ,it worked for about 10 minutes ,then back to front desk. Tech came out again and worked on it , it worked for about another 10 minutes, back to front desk because the phone wouldn't work . Sent tech out again , great guy, disconnected the wall unit thermostat and manually set it to the coldest setting . Lasted about 10 minutes and but that time the outside temped...

"the first room we checked into, the fridge was leaking on the floor. front desk immediately gave us a different room and some snacks for the trouble. the rooms do not have carpet, so they are a little noisy. especially when the neighbors were having a rowdy good time. the bathroom light fixture only had one side working and the shower door did not close all the way. the shampoo and conditioner supplied smelled amazing! the bed was comfortable."

"The Holiday Inn Express in Novi was a very decent place. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast hours were very short but the option were good. I liked that coffee was available 24/7. The workout room was nice but too warm and didn't have much for strength training. The staff was friendly. I liked the option to not have house keeping clean your room.
