"For the price bracket I expected a bit more considering breakfast wasn’t included. I don’t drink tea or coffee and there wasn’t any bottles of water in the room, 2 glasses but no water.. No welcome pack and no timings for breakfast if you decided to have it on the morning like we did. Beds and bedding were nice and cosy. "

"This is a basically C19th Inn, although some of it might be older. The room was clean and bright, the en-suite shower the same. Tea/coffee and kettle &c provided in the room. Bed fairly comfortable. Two things that were not so good: there was no hot water from the hand basin tap - no water at all in fact - and this could not be rectified until after the weekend (I booked in Saturday afternoon). All Ok in the shower. I could not open either the bedroom window nor the bathroom one, both sash...

"The room was decorated nicely and bed was comfortable but no air con, which was an issue in May but would be uncomfortable at the height of summer. Location is lovely and picturesque. Dinner was nice but felt overpriced for what it was."
