"Great spot, easy to drive to. Rooms good size, we had a twin room with 2 single beds which looked like they were usually fastened together to make a double. Singles quite narrow."

"Our rooms looked nothing like the photo’s on here. The carpets had huge stains on them and the furniture was dated and beat up. Our window would not open and the frame was rotting. Our bathroom was dark and the shower would sporadically turn burning hot to freezing cold. The women’s toilets in the bar area had multiple out of order signs on the doors and the one I was able to use had a huge hole in the wall where tiles were missing and broken. "The property seems to be in need of some renovation. The staff were very nice and enjoyed a laugh and joke. Breakfast was good. But at 7-30am way too early. The locals that were in there were more than happy to talk to us. Parking very difficult. Overall a better stay than we expected."

"We decided to go to the Bull inn as it was situated well for us as we wanted to go to Sutton Hoo and then the next morning go to Framlingham Castle. On arrival at the Bull inn we were meet by friendly staff booked in and given our key to our room which we were very pleased with may i say. "Bar was well stocked with what ever you required. There was not a beach view as it was on the street leading to the beach.The room was clean and compacted and the staff were very good and helpful."

"The Bushel is a friendly well run pub right in the heart of Bury St. Edmunds. It has the advantage of Car Parking for guests. Breakfast and Dinner were both good value and tasty. The staff are helpful and efficient. We stayed in one of the courtyard rooms. This had all we needed including a good size bed, shower, tea and coffee, Tv etc. We would certainly stay here again when we are next in the area."
