This is the most populous city in North Sulawesi making this city as the capital city that has more than half a million inhabitants residing here. It's a friendly city serving as the welcome gate to the land of waving coconuts. Although it's not the most beautiful city in Indonesia, the city is ranked top 5 on human index development score in Indonesia. This city is messy but it is surrounded with amazing places like beautiful beaches, magnificent volcanoes, national marine parks, tropical rainforest, incredible natural reserves and ancient living historical places. Places to live? I personally suggest you to live in a beach or island resort for some incredible experiences. I suggest you to look it up on Tripadvisor for some reviews!
