CHECK inn Express Taipei YongKang
The rooms were relatively aged and the maintenance was so so - got hairs on one of my pillows while checking in. The staff at the front desk was very friendly and nice though.

The Grand Hotel
Beautiful architecture and tasty breakfast (with duck and high quality seafood and meat). Room AC didn’t go all the way down to 18C and front desk staff was a little aloof but overall great experience. Did both east and west secret passageway tours.
