"In the middle of Florence you can step out the front door and have so many things to see close by. Every major site isn’t more than 15 minutes away walking. Food choices nearby have so many choices and price ranges. The room was huge and freshly appointed. Bathroom small but clean and the shower is large. Lot of information at front desk rapid check in. "The building is over 600 years old but you wouldn’t know it judging by the rooms. There is also a very nice terrace for sun tanning we used that was very private. The view of the Duomo from the room can’t be beat either."

"Fantastic location. Old building with old working elevator. Bare bone room, external bath, room code didn’t always work so needed a physical key, good AC, TV didn’t work, good internet. Notified staff that the shower didn’t drain well, but was never fixed. Overall good enough for a solo traveler. "
