Clean!

Although it caught us off by surprise being a motel instead of a hotel, we really enjoyed our stay. They recently did a remodel and did a good job. If you need a last second place to stop for a good price, this place may be for you. Contrary to other reviews, the staff was nice and had no issues.

This property was one of the most affordable stays that I had with all the facilities. The owner manager was really nice and helped us with all the required amenities. The fridge and full range microwave was a big plus.

I recently stayed at StateLine Stayovers and it was a great experience. The room was spacious, giving off a cozy mini-apartment vibe, complete with a kitchenette which was super helpful. The staff were friendly and readily available. If you're looking for a comfortable spot that feels like home for a longer stay, I'd definitely recommend staying here.

Great place to stay especially for extended stay. The rooms were all brand new with new bedding. Had all kitchen appliances like stove, refrigerator, dishwasher and microwave. Made my stay very convenient. Will certainly stay here in future for my work trips

I thought it was a deserted property when I first pull up. I felt unsafe and ended up getting another hotel room elsewhere. I get it was a cheap room but there is still a matter of pride in the ownership of a property. Weeds everywhere in the parking lot. The room wasn’t much better. Window was broken and taped up. I turned around and left.

Check-in was hard to find and not lit up signs for night time arrival. However, the staff were very nice. I would have rated a little higher, but we wound up killing 1 huge spider and 2 smaller ones. I believe the unit could be exterminated for spiders and bugs. Comfy beds. Microwave and small fridge were convenient. The a/c worked very good & the water pressure, hot & cold were perfect.

Great!

Huge beautiful rooms. Room has a kitchenette and living room area that is separate from the sleeping area. Everything was clean and brand new. Will be staying here for a few months while working and am happy to say it feels like a mini apartment. It is quiet and peaceful here. My only complaint would be the pillows as they are super flat, but traveling for work so often we bring our own bedding anyways.

Bring cash. Lower expectations. Clean.

Our room was supposed to be two queens and a full pull out. It was 2 double beds and a small futon. They required a CASH deposit, which we didn't have and had to go to an ATM after driving 14 hours. The room and sheets were clean. The AC was cold.

The staff were really nice and helpful. They are in the middle of a remodel of the hotel rooms. So the one we actually needed wasn’t finished yet. They do have new mattress. But the sheets were dirty and needed to be thrown away.

They will scam you out of money, they take your debit card and say they need to verify name and steal money from your account, they are thieves, stay away!!!!

The outside was questionable. But the room was decent. But when we need towel paper and fresh towels no one was in the lobby. They just left for hours. The few ppl that was there was left high and dry. Very unprofessional.

The management is extremely rude, it is very cheap so expectations weren’t very high, but the pictures they post online absolutely don’t match the rooms they actually use. They have roaches and bugs. All of it could’ve maybe been doable (besides the roaches) but the way the manager treated us was completely uncalled for. I will not be returning to this property ever.

Overbooked and no room for paid up reservations

Arrived to check in on April 7. Had my paid for reservation info. I walked into the office and the lady just pointed at the sign saying no more rooms. Told me to contact who I booked the room through to get a refund. Was not helpful at all or concerned that I did not have a room.

lol they didnt clean my room at all the whole nine days I was there . WAS QUITE NO BUGS . It was little bit dirty. . Lady that runs the place is not friendly has a list of rules a mile long . don't lose your key card its a 10 fee after 11 pm its a 20 dollar fee . Gave me a look and lip every time i ask for her paper thin towels or tp. .lip stick on a pig is all i can say about the condition of the room . this place could be a gold mind if only they had the right people that cared and valued there job.

When I tried to resolve with Expedia they called him but he wouldn’t answer. DO NOT STAY HERE. It’s a total dump and service is dishonest and inconsiderate.?

No ice machine. Grassy areas unkept overgrown, most outdoor lights were blinking off randomly.Discrepancy between pet fee on listing and check-in. Tried to contact hotel for a late check-in person who answered the phone hung up on me and then refused to answer the phone. Tried to check in the next day for my second night and they wouldn’t check me in so paid for two nights and didn’t get to stay there at all. Most unprofessional individual I’ve ever dealt with hanging up the phone and then refusing to answer. Did a drive-through of the property and it is the most rundown looking motel in the area. Personally, don’t know how anyone could feel safe staying at this poor excuse of a motel.

Texarkana disappointment

We were passing through on our way to Missouri. The hotel is under construction. Our room was mostly finished, but we expected a queen size bed and it was only a full size. The mattress was covered with plastic and not comfortable. My husband had to sleep on the sleeper sofa, but it was brand new and the bed still wrapped in plastic. He ended up sleeping on the floor. Also no bedding for the sofa bed. There was only one dirty towel in the bathroom. When I asked for two new towels, the desk attendant was arguing and very reluctant to give me two towels. The towels were small and threadbare. I would not stay there again.
