"special and peaceful. The rooms are large and comfortable, but there were quite a lot of insects inside the room, which was disturbing at times. The bedding also felt a bit dusty. Breakfast was overall good, with several options to choose from. The hotel restaurant serves lunch and dinner, but the menu is quite limited and does not change, and the food quality is average. The staff is very kind and polite, but seems inexperienced. During meals, plates were not cleared from the table, which made the dining experience less comfortable. The pool is small but nice. The dining area is very warm and there were mosquitoes and flies, which made it less pleasant to sit there. Overall, the location in nature is amazing and the hotel has great potential, but improvements in cleanliness, food service, and comfort would make the stay much better."

"Magical Mountain was incredibly unique and absolutely beautiful! The staff was incredible and a true reflection of a beautiful Thai culture. The location was outstanding for proximity to jungle truck, tourists and kao lak. The pool was outstanding! "

"This was as close to paradise as I think is possible. From the moment you arrive everything is thought of, from the welcome to the complimentary activities to the layout of the hotel. My room was a sea view which I highly recommend and the view of the sunrise is incredible. The breakfast here was one of the best I’ve had during my month long tour around Thailand. I was a solo traveller and most others were couples or friends but they still made me feel really welcome. I would recommend for anyone from solo travellers to honeymooners."

"The room was big but the air conditioning did not work properly I had no hot water and they started drilling in the room next door at 7.30 am also the room upstairs had a part till the early hours . So not the best stay"

"Do not let the pictures screw you. This hotel is a dive. I wouldn’ recommended it to anyone. I wish I still had the pictures that I could show you. There was no hot water. There was no TV. there were large cracks in the wall. The worst was a smell. Right next-door there was a fish processing organization. You got to be kidding me The proprietor spoke no English when the tide was out. It was one great big mud bowl. The breakfast in the morning was reasonable, but not great. I would never go back. Also it is an hour away from Krabi"

"Beautiful tranquil location off the beaten track. Basic sleeping hut and bathroom but that’s the charm in coming here. Run by the wonderfully attentive ladies with food prepared and cooked to order. Relax, read, swim and chill. "
