"The room was clean. The staff were nice, in general.The breakfast and breakfast staff were wonderful! The spa appeared to have something growing in it and looked like it belonged in the swamp. The swimming pool was okay, but was very old and once again didn’t look really clean! The gym was good and we used it both days we were there. The hotel had paper thin walls and we could hear people walking around upstairs, babies crying at night and things going on outside. The elevator smelled bad. "

"Staff: breakfast staff were incredible, helpful. One even filled my coffee mug when my hands were full on my way out. However, the office staff were practically non-existent. I tried to report a problem and got no response to the required phone call. It is fortunate that I solved the problem by myself and could actually get into my room on Saturday night. "This place is wonderful. Each room is unique and fun. We stayed in the Victorian room. I thoroughly enjoyed soaking in the tub, warming up by the fire and access to our own balcony. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was tasty. The hosts are lovely and really spend time getting to know the guests or leaving you alone, whichever you prefer. The room was very clean. There is a lot of knick knacks and that can feel a little overwhelming, but mostly just fun to look at. There is a guest kitchen...

"Well, although there was a booking issue and I was unable to check in as they close the office after 9 PM I have to say I got an excellent response from Lauren the next morning. The third party booking glitch was explained and they are working to resolve this for future customers. Lauren provided excellent customer service and assured a prompt refund. I will definitely be staying here in the future due to the good customer service communication that was prompt. The property looked great and...

"This location is a bit dated. Our room was located on the first floor and was noisy from people coming and going. You could hear the showers in other rooms going on and toilets flushing. The staff were friendly and breakfast was decent. I probably would not stay there again. "
