We stayed for two nights at the Tsiliki and had a great stay. The team on site are very friendly and helpful and the breakfast and dinner in the restaurant were very good. The hotel is situated a few kilometres from Kalabaka the main town in the area, but the area does have a few restaurants and bars and lies in the shadows of the amazing Meteora and monasteries. I stayed at Doupiani House for a couple of nights with my parents. After a long day of commuting from Athens, we thought it was just great to get to this lovely hotel and to meet their friendly and helpful personnel. Perfect family-run comfortable hotel for an overnight visit of Meteora. At the end of town (difficult to walk) but very convenient to drive with parking. Very friendly, personable and welcoming service. Gave great tips on sunset and photo spots for Meteora. Recommend.

What a gem, we felt welcomed from the moment we arrived and every staff member we interacted with was warm and friendly. Exactly what anyone wants from a hotel. We were delayed arriving, this wasn't an issue from Andreau who welcomed us and gave a great recomendation for dinner. Evie, was working each morning we were there, providing us coffee, and explaining the breakfast options. She was also so helpful with our lost luggage and getting it back. Great view

The hotel is perfecly located, near the city center and the meteoras, with a beautiful view on the latter. The city center is accessible by foot and it’s a 10 min drive to the meteoras. Upon arrival we had a very nice welcome by the receptionist. As a matter of fact all people working in the hotel are very friendly and helpful. The room was spaciuous and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom looks nice but could have been a bit bigger. The main attraction of the hotel would be the breakfast....

Lovely hotel. Excellent staff. Not the newest but well maintained and good value.

Very good hotel. Room was very comfortable, with a balcony if we needed it. Excellent breakfast with lots of fresh choices. Staff were extreme helpful. Parking was easy in the hotel’s car park in front of reception. Good location at the side of the town, a short drive to the monasteries. We didn’t use the hotel facilities except the gym, which was good.

Amazing 🌟

Very large room and bed with sofa, dining table and small kitchen with a fabulous view of the Meteora. Although located in a new part of town it was in fact only 10 minutes walk from the centre which has an abundance of cafes , bars and restaurants. The manager was very helpful and friendly. The location is new and, as at June 2024, not properly served by my car satnav or my iPhone map. However google maps worked and the manager sent a link to the Google map app to guide us in. Very pleased...

Alsos House was very conveniently located right at the bottom of the trail from the monasteries. We had booked 2 double rooms which they upgraded to 2 apartments as there was some renovation work going on. The apartments were very comfortable and are ideal for a family of 4 or even a larger family. They are well equipped with a kitchenette and central heating.
