Todorokikeikoku Park

Todoroki Valley has got to be one of the most surprising hidden gems in Tokyo. The 1km walk takes you across bridges and stepping stones, past a small shrine and to a garden with a bamboo grove and orange trees. As you descend the stairs into the valley, you will be forgiven for forgetting that you’re still in one of the most densely populated cities in the world.

Take the south exit at Todoroki station (Tokyu Oimachi line) and follow the signs with a red bridge on them.
