Try and visit on a Tuesday or Friday from about 5pm; the Staff have formed a music and dance group and they perform at 6,7 and 8pm and are excellent.

It just seemed to be a tower, but around it is Shiba Garden, which is nice, and a couple of interesting shrines with impressive statues.

Recommend visiting Tokyo tower late afternoon. This allows you to see Tokyo at day and night. The views are stunning. When you purchase your ticket be prepared to wait as you are issued a time slot.
