"The staff was amazing, the room was clean, big bathroom, and the bed was great. The only problem i had was the out side door to my room was hard to open but other then that It was decent for the price I paid to stay."

"Oversized Jacuzzi Tub in the Ace Room was very clean looking and had a light in it! Cute set up. Little smoke smell in that particular room but other than that it was nice looking!"
Hotel Grinnell Downtown, an Ascend Collection Hotel

"A unique property — a boutique hotel converted from a 1921 junior high school. Large spacious rooms with 15 foot vaulted ceilings. Staff are very friendly and attentive, and non-intrusive. It's central, just a couple of blocks away from Broad street and Main street. There's free self parking on the street outside the hotel, and it's a 12 minute walk or a 5 minute bike ride to Grinnell College (there are free-to-borrow bikes available in the hotel). Best hotel in and around Grinnell by a country mile. And so it's hard to book rooms whenever there are events at Grinnell College (have to book weeks sometimes months in advance)."

"I didn't spend a lot of time here because I checked in late and left early, but my room was clean and comfortable, and I was impressed by the breakfast. A lot of choices! I would stay here again."
