"Our hotel stay was truly an incredible experience! From the moment we arrived until checkout, everything was wonderful. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay. The only downside was seeing some homeless encampments nearby, but honestly, it didn’t bother us or take away from our overall experience. We still had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back! ❤️"
"The hotel was perfect for my trip. Great location to Stayton where I had business. The pool and spa were most welcome. The staff was very friendly and helpful for any questions I had. My room was very quiet.
I will stay there again. Thank you."
"I stayed at Days Inn Black Bear on 10.26.26.
Check in was easy and quick.
I'm an older woman that decided to go to TJ Max just after dark. I got lost. I called the front desk at the hotel. The same young woman that had checked me in answer. She gave me great directions on how to get back to the hotel. She was so helpful.
THANK YOU VERY MUCH. I AM VERY APPRECIATIVE!"
"It was a great stay. Room was clean. Staff was friendly. We used the hot tub and the sauna. We even got a voucher for a free Denny’s breakfast! We will be back!"
"Even though some of the furniture was very worn, specifically the dresser and table, but also the couch to some extent, the rest of the room was clean and in good shape.
The mattress was just hard enough to be comfortable, but that is a personal preference. Too often we find mattresses that seem more akin to marshmallows, and I cannot stand that, so I was pleased in that respect.
HOWEVER! Even though the hotel was approximately less than half occupied, we were given a room with a door that could open into another room. Typically that has never been an issue at other hotels for us in the past, but here the soundproofing (or rather the COMPLETE lack thereof) meant that every word spoken was as though the door was open. I thought to ask for a different room, but after an hour or so, the noises coming from the next door diminished to zero, so I thought we were going to have a comfortable evening.
Unfortunately, at about 12:30 I awoke to the sounds of a TV show being played at a very loud volume. I was already feeling rather ill, and was reluctant to contact the front desk. I should have, as this persisted until about 3:30, but I thought surely someone else might complain. But the problem was really with extremely poor sound proofing, and an evening manager that never once walked the halls to check for issues or problems.
Were it not for that, the price was a bargain, and the amenities were fairly nice."
