"Nestled in the hills surrounded by lush greenery, the Alver Hotel was our base for kayaking in the spectacular fjords. We stayed in an updated cabin that was well equipped with the basic necessities, including an in unit washer and dryer. Our stay includes a delicious breakfast buffet each morning. If possible I would give a sixth star for the friendly staff who went the extra mile to make our stay pleasant and memorable."
"Ottima struttura per soggiornare a Sotra e arrivare facilmente a Bergen. Appartamento grande e dotato di tutti il necessario per un soggiorno in una casa vacanze. Camere giuste ma senza armadio. Letti comodi e puliti. Vengo grande, comodo e pulito. Torneremo molto volentieri!"
"This place is honestly one of the best spots we have stayed in. The staff was very friendly, the breakfast was incredible, and the rooms are perfect. We will always stay here on any trip to Bergen. I highly recommend this to anyone!"

"This hotel is ideally located to walk (or e-scooter) around the centre of Bergen. Good sized room for my wife, me and our 15yr old son on a temporary bed. Bathroom and shower v nice. The breakfast was extremely good and varied (very busy at around 9am though). Happily stay here again and would recommend. If you are driving around Norway, parking is discounted at a nearby car park (10 min walk). "
"Das Apartment war super schön eingerichtet, alles noch sehr neu. Es hat an nichts gefehlt. Die Lage war top. Kurzer Weg zu den ganzen Sehenswürdigkeiten und trotzdem sehr ruhig gelegen. Ein Lebensmittelgeschäft war auch direkt in der Nähe. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und würden das Apartment immer wieder buchen."
"Beautiful room with gorgeous high ceilings, quiet location despite being very central, friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful flowers and in room fruit and treats, comfy bed, large bathroom. Parking is a while away but can stop car outside to load luggage."
"Fabulous breakfast bar! The location was ideal for tourists. My only complaint would be the tiny bathrooms and shower. The corner shower didn't seal properly so water would go everywhere. I'm American so I may be just used to bigger rooms and showers though. Overall though, I would come back. Actually this was already my 2nd stay there. "
"Really enjoyed this hotel. It was comfortable, very clean and had a great breakfast each day. It is also an easy walk to restaurants, shopping and all the tourist attractions around Bergen. I would definitely pick this one again on a future visit. "
