"The room was clean and the staff was helpful. They honored our request to have a room on the first floor and suggested a good place to eat. We would stay there again."

"We stay here every time we are traveling through. Clean room, comfortable beds, staff is helpful and friendly. Only downside is do not attempt to partake in their "hot breakfast buffet". It was frozen, reheated food that was not good. The potatoes were hard as a rock. Sausage patties looked microwaved. Coffee was not good either. A breakfast that makes you worried being stuck in a car. I was surprised because the stay and service in the hotel are great. Rooster's Restaurant has a superior breakfast."

"Our last stop on a Tigard-OR around Mt. Rushmore-SD road trip, and was actually kind of a fluke. With an extra day to play with, we decided to stop in Pendleton on the way home from Boise ID. Great decision, and this place was *perfect*. All the basics covered, clean bed and bathroom, well appointed, easy parking, walking distance to downtown restaurants/shopping/etc. But honestly, and am not being hyperbolic, this is one of the best remodels I have ever seen (believe this used to be a Travelodge). Not just ultra-new feeling, but whoever designed this really knew what they were doing. Better half loved the accent walls and photography, and I loved functional details like the towel racks under the sink, handsoap/lotion bottles affixed to the wall. A very small room/space that had so much efficiency. So well done, can't overstate it. Then there's the morning coffee, which is as advertised (excellent). The staff, A+ wonderful. And they even have an adorable "guard" dog, Astro. We will definitely come back to Pendleton, and we won't consider any other place to stay."
