"Thoroughly recommend. Lovely rural part of Devon, the hotel is set in its own well maintained grounds, which is excellent for dog walking, our room was clean and comfortable, as was the breakfast and dining area which were both well set out, with plenty of space to accommodate dogs. Food was great, varied and plentiful. All staff were polite, efficient, and attentive, which helped to create a pleasant and chilled atmosphere."

"Most enjoyable stay, the room we had was spacious and beautifully decorated with a view of the river, and the bed was the softest we had ever slept in! Staff were really lovely and helpful, and made us feel very welcome from the beginning of our stay. Breakfast was especially good but the main menu was somewhat limited although of high quality, There was a small car park on site, and plenty of on-road parking although this was very busy during the day.
