"The place is great for a retreat. The lodges are spaceful, with air and view, very unique. In addition, I especially enjoyed the service from the Manager Martin: I had told him I was arriving late and couple sandwiches were waiting at my room so that I wouldn't go to bed with an empty stomach. And I asked him to organize for me a fishing party which he did fantastically and for a very reasonable price. I went early morning an hour out from the coast fishing Tuna with good and experienced guys....

"WOW just wow!!!! We loved our stay at this small boutique hotel. Beautiful and wonderful staff. We traveled with our 1.5 year son and it was perfect. We will recommend it to all who are looking for a slice of paradise. Good food, amazing ice cream and smoothies nice decorated and clean rooms/bungalows, stunning pool area, helpfull staff my husband went on a fishing trip planned by staff. Not much to do in the area but it is close to more lively Paje. But to be honest we loved hanging on the sun...

"When I was looking for a place to stay in Paje, not too far from the beach and not too expensive, I stumbled upon Villa Huruma. It had excellent reviews and looked great on their website. However, when I got there it was even better than I had imagined! The 5 star reviews were spot on! Beautifully maintained pool and grounds, spotlessly clean rooms, gracious and professional staff- it’s a fabulous oasis of calm and decadence. The breakfast was delicious, with plenty of options and I had a wonderful dinner of rice and vegetable stir fry, too. My visit was highlighted by getting up early and walking 3 minutes to the beach to see the sun rise over the Indian Ocean. Book a stay at Villa Huruma! You will not regret it!"

"Such a beautiful Hotel, filled with a lot of great people. Had such an amazing experience at the Jaz Elite Aurora. All the staffs were wonderful and kind. Room was kept clean all the time was cleaned twice a day. Are pool was also cleaned everyone morning before using. I also used the gym a lot and that was clean everytime I went to the gym. The restaurant was really good too had 4 different options of food for various times which was really good and the quality of food everywhere was really nice. Special mention has to go to the waitress wand waiter at all the restaurants. They were all great and so were the staffs and managers who stopped from time to time everyday to check in on us. I booked a specific room for our stay and was really pleased with what I was given had a really great view of the beach and the sea. Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to travel to Zanzibar! Will definitely be going back."

"Our family of 4 just stayed in the Grand Ocean suite for 9 nights and we were blown away with how nice and helpful the staff were. First this resort is so CLEAN. The room was beautiful and the beds were very comfortable. Great showers and baths with very hot water and great water pressure. The mini bar was always stocked with beer sodas and waters… The resort felt very safe… there was always security at the front gate and down by the beach. There is only 1 restaurant but they offer so many options every day… for the first 7 nights we had the buffet which had at least 30 different things to choose from… I am a picky eater and allergic to many spices but I was able to find something to eat and the chef made me plain pasta when requested… my family loves spices so they enjoyed it all… there was always pasta, beef, chicken, and fish dishes to choose from. The last few nights they set up candlelight dinners around the property so we ate in the garden and by the pool those nights and ordered from a menu of options. The property is beautiful… the website pictures really don’t convey how nice it is, especially the beach area. The tides do go out pretty far everyday so there are times when you can’t swim in ocean but the stretch of beach to walk down is magnificent and there are so many beautiful shells to find. There are hundreds of sea urchins in waters in Zanzibar so bring water shoes. The staff is so attentive and proactively reaching out to help with anything"

"Absolutely loved our stay at Ndame Paje Hotel! The room was spotlessly clean with a beautiful beach view. The infinity pool overlooking the ocean is stunning. Staff were friendly and the restaurant food was very good! Jozani National Park is conveniently close for a day trip. Perfect peaceful spot right on Paje Beach. Highly recommended!"

"The Residence was the perfect spot to celebrate my 40th birthday. The deluxe garden view with the private pool was exact atmosphere my husband and I were looking for. The hotel is extremely clean and they even offer room cleanings twice a day. And we also loved the different themed dinner options each night along side with a live band performance! The staff make you feel at home and apart of the family. Nico always greeted us with a warm smile and helped us capture precious moments. The location is a little far from main attractions but I promise it’s worth it. Thank you to all the staff that made our visit to Zanzibar so special!♥️"

"Very pleasant stay. Room was cleaned twice a day and fulfilled our expectation. Very nice area and extremely service minded personnel. Food had a high quality with a wide variation of menues every day. Be aware of the tide on that side of the island, some day you had to walk several hundred meters for having a bath. "
