"The hotel room is really old but consider it is opening for over 30 years that’s acceptable. Hotel management should consider renovate the property to compete the new hotels. I booked the hotel through Expedia and tired to reach out for a refund because my schedule change, it was so difficult and nothing i was able to do to change the reservation. Frustrating process."

Cafeteria staff members are friendly and helpful enough but occasionally one or two were rude even for a three star, just out of the line. The hotel is connected to a large shopping mall with a good size supermarket and lots of restaurants. Newly modeled front desk areas. Facilities and appliances on some floors/ rooms are relatively old, like carpet, safes,...

"Hotel rooms is spacious and location is good with shopping malls nearby (Joy city) with good variety of dining options and PopMart. Hotel is rather old, breakfast spread is very limited. Reception staff can be more friendly and helpful- most of them we encountered for our 6 days stay are gloomy looking. Swimming pool smaller than in pictures. Not near to Tiananmen nor forbidden city. Would recommend if prices are reasonable."
