"We were travelling by motorcycle. Thus location was perfect for us. The staff were efficient and helpful. Our room was also perfect for 2 guys travelling. Our room had 2 Q beds. Very comfortable. The b’fast had everything we needed to start our day. A nice touch is having a coffee machine in our room. Great kid everyone!"

"Bathtub faucet and drain could use an upgrade, but it was perfectly usable, especially since we were just there for the one night. We were provided with slightly early check-in, which was good, as we had to be at a wedding within the hour."

"I’m not a big fan of roadside motels because they’re usually pretty scuzzy. However, the Deep River Motel has been perfectly upgraded to modern standards. It’s clean, well maintained, and has all the mod cons. The bathroom as all new and clean as whistle. There’s a microwave, good sized fridge, really good A/C and a flat panel tv with lots to watch. The staff are super helpful. I’ve seen people complain about the highway noise but, frankly, we had no problem with that. It’s a roadside motel so...

"Calabogie peaks resort was 5 minutes down the road. Stores, food places and trails close proximity. My dad and I were in Calabogie for the annual snowmobile races and got lucky with the last room available. Spacious, cute environment, clean, and the man running the place and front desk was so kind. Definitely will be our spot to stay every year moving forward, can’t beat the price. "
