"Absolutely incredible motel and staff. Management/owners are incredibly welcoming and helpful whatever needed. If I ever need a motel in this area I will be at Scotty’s. The room was incredibly beautifully clean very comfortable and very welcoming. I would rather stay at a small mom and pop Motel like this any day than these great big chain hotels. "The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly, courteous and helpful. We had a nice breakfast. And they aren't kidding when they say "lock view"! It is an easy walk across the street to the visitor center where you can watch ships, some very large, passing through the locks. I would definitely stay here again."
