"Great breakfast, comfy bed, and a super friendly staff! We really appreciated that our bags were delivered to the train station for us after hiking all day. Highly recommend this hotel."

Inti Punku MachuPicchu Hotel & Suites
10/10 Excellent
"The room was available at noon. Our sheets were a little damp when we first checked in but it was tolerable since we were only there for sleep. The staff was very supportive and provided excellent customer service."

Jaya Machupicchu Boutique Hotel
6/10 Okay
"Found a hair on the bed, odd to have a tub in the room, but an AMAZING view and VERY conveniently located."

NaturaLodge Machu Picchu
6/10 Okay
"You get what you pay for. This was a last minute booking because my original hotel sold my room after booking with Expedia. Naturalodge is at the top of what feels like a thousand steps. The rooms with windows look nice, unfortunately we didn’t have one of those. Showers were hot before 8 and after 1900. I was fortunate enough to find out they are not hot at 1500 upon returning from a sweaty day in macchu picchu. When we did get new towels we had to ask for them because they didn’t have extras and ours were in the dryer.
There is a reason this hotel was still available close to our trip after the original booking at Tierra Vito was overbooked and made us cancel."

Hotel Ruta Amazonica Machupicchu
8/10 Good
"Excellent location near the train station."

Casa Del Sol Machupicchu
10/10 Excellent
"Considering how crowded Machu Picchu Pueblo is, this hotel’s location is great. It may be right next to the train tracks, but at least it’s flat and there isn’t constant foot traffic. Anywhere in this town will be noisy - either from the trains or the river.
Pros- staff will meet you at the train station to escort you to the hotel.(A very wonderful surprise). Friendly staff. Good breakfast selection. If you don’t see something, just ask. Good sized rooms.
Cons- needs updating. The bathtub/shower is a bit scary to use since you need to use a step stool to climb into the tall tub. It also has a significant downward slope for drainage. Older folks will need to be extra cautious getting in and out. The Ecco setting is nice unless u want the mini frig to stay cold. The power turns off when the room key is removed from the slot.
I was a little surprised they didn’t offer help with luggage when we checked out. We would have asked if we really needed help but we should have been asked considering this is a “nicer” hotel."

Sol Miranda Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Location is amazing. So close to everything you need. Easy access for tuktuk to go train station.
Breakfast. Very nice omelet and coca tea.
Room has view to center of hotel and valley view. Asked for hair dryer. Hotel helped me book a tuktuk to train station. Overall very nice stay. "

Sol Ollantay Exclusive Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Kudos to the staff who made us feel warm and welcomed!!! Our train was late arriving and they stayed late to welcome us and take our luggage to our room; all with enthusiasm and warmth!! The room was updated big spacious with a view to die for. A big draw for me was the king size bed. In other countries it is so hard to find accommodations that offer a king size bed; it was so comfy!!! We sprung for a balcony overlooking the mountains/running river and we are soooooo glad we did!!! To wake up two separate mornings with this in the back drop was such a blessing!!! I thank God for this location, staff, the cleanliness of our room, the hotel, the breakfast presentation, and the unique character of Ollantaytambo which I love to say!! They are constantly working on upgrading the amenities of their hotel but they do it so discreetly you do not hear them and they almost make themselves invisible as not to disturb your visit. I have never experienced that before. Kudos!!! Blessings to all of you and thank you for helping My Husband and I make this one of many trips of a lifetime!!!"
