Our family of five (2 adults, 3 younger kids) had a two night stay here in Aug 2026 while travelling back from a longer trip to Switzerland. The B&B is comfortable and clean, the service is friendly and the continental breakfast on the terrace in the morning sunshine was a highlight. We spent a day taking the kids to the high ropes course (Arbre et Aventure) at the nearby Lac de Madine, which I'd recommend as an outdoor family day out. Would happily stay again.

My family of 5 had a great stay with a large 3 double bedroom appartment which was very clean and had everything we needed.
Herve was an excellent host and really looked after us and the super breakfast kept us going for hours.
Highly recommend.
Thank you

What can one say? This place is utterly fantastic. Not only is it very beautiful & romantic but there is a mass of history concerning the place and the local area. It has to be one of the best places to stay, especially for a wedding or romantic anniversary.
The outside of the place immediately, blew us away, but as we were led us inside to our room in the main house our host explained the various rooms on the way, the huge dining room (OMG), the breakfast room (WOW), the lounge (best for wi-fi)...

Very friendly and helpful owners that did everything to make us welcome and comfortable. Highly recommended and would not hesitate to stay with them again

Stopped here en route to Italy by car, very much off the beaten track. Lovely countryside location, very peaceful. Pleasant welcome. good room with all facilities, bed was adjustable and very comfortable. Decor a little dated, but this is part of the charm of choosing a rural hotel. Excellent meal, reasonably priced; lady who served us was especially nice. Good breakfast. Would definitely come back.

Really nice art deco hotel next to the train station, 5 minutes walk to the canal and 10 minutes walk to the centre.
The beds were extremely comfortable!
Good breakfast too.

Convenient for the town centre. Lot of bars and restaurants close by. Parking at the rear of the hotel for €5. Spiral staircases to rooms but gentle ones. Room clean. Bed comfortable. Took a while to get the hot water flowing.

What’s a holiday rental in Vadonville like?
Holiday rentals are private properties where you can stay for a few weeks, or just a few days, in Vadonville. Holiday rentals feature amenities such as laundry facilities and kitchens to help you enjoy your stay. If you're concerned about a sanitised environment, a holiday rental can offer a sense of safety away from public hotel lifts and lobbies bustling with people while still allowing you the excitement and enjoyment of travel. You'll also have more space in a holiday rental than in a hotel, which is another reason why a holiday rental is a great option for a small group gathering.
