Not really worth the price what they charge for the room. Water pressure in the shower was poor, warm water was not really there. Aircon was super loud with rattling noise. Even when we mentioned, nothing changed. From early in the morning they played loud music next to the room and were talking loud. Not really a long and good sleep. Think there are cheaper and better hotels around this one. Wouldnt come back for that money....

The room #1000 was ok in cleanliness but it was very noisy. Room check-in is strictly enforce at 15:00 no exceptions I notice everyone was asked ro wait. I extended an extra night and did reservation with orbitz app. The hotel moved me from previous room because they said it wasnt the same category? Despite hotel was empty on a Monday. When We arrived on Friday the hotel was very busy on all the amenities (beach, pool, hammock & paybeds) due to overselling day passes. Pool towels need to be checkout with official ID. The staff was not very helpful and even had attitudes. Restaurant food was good. I would come back

We arrived in the evening and the first thing they did when we arrived was charge us another 2300 pesos for the same exact room that we already booked and paid for. Due to the late hour, there was no choice but to pay it so we could go to sleep. For that reason alone, the review is 1 star, but it doesn’t end there. The description of the room said partial ocean view but if we opened the curtains all we could see was people at the pool looking INTO OUR ROOM because they put us on the ground level. As for the restaurant, I waited over 40 minutes for food that was unremarkable. It was half as good and double the price compared with the other local restaurants in the area. Go literally anywhere else for food. The beach was nice and there were other nice amenities and events, but it was not enough to compensate for the feeling that they were just making up rules and policies to ask us for more money.

The best location to stay in Playa Chachalacas, very nice hotel with friendly service and amenities, it’s one of the priciest of the region but its totally worth it.

Cleanliness can improve Mattress are very old and uncomfortable even renting the master suite and the junior suite, I was expecting a comfortable bed as it was 4 years ago, they need to keep up the quality of the furniture or the hotel soon will be going to a 2 star hotel

La atención del hotel es grosera, no me dieron la habitación correcta y no quisieron hacer el ajuste, mala experiencia deja en muy mal a Expedia, trataron de decirme que no reservará por la app sino directo con ellos The hotel service is rude, they did not give me the correct room and they refused to make the adjustment, bad experience reflects poorly on Expedia, they tried to tell me not to book through the app but directly with them.

The worst experience, this property needs an operations manager ASAP. The hotel is located in the beach and the entire time the restaurant did not have fish, sea food or local traditional cuisine, as advertised. Waiters were clueless of missing items and wasted valuable time to tell me they did not have food. Could not even make a salad or club sandwich. There wasn't a bar at the sky bar, wait times were insane. The room did not have towels and had to wait 3 hours and chase the staff to get some clean towels. I asked to talk to the manager and that person is absent. No one paid attention to my situation. The worst: door key did not work and doorknob had to be replaced by slow maintenance personnel. The spa was dirty. Simply horrible from beginning to wnd

If this hotel is going to insist that you cannot check in early then they should be ready for you to check in at the appointed time. We were told at 2pm that we could not check in until 3pm so we went on a excursion and came back after 4pm to a crowded front desk on people trying to check in. We were told our room was not ready and was offered a late check out, which we did not need as compensation. After being persistent we were offered a couple of free drinks, that the server tried to charge us for, while we waited. When we initially arrived we did not have a ocean view room which I thought we had requested. The room we were going to have was $95 USD to upgrade to a ocean view room we were charged an addition $73 USD. That is a total of $168 USD for a room that is listed on the website for $119 USD. The room we were given included a living room separated by a door to the bed room. We had to keep the door separating the rooms closed because the air conditioning in the living room did not work and they never showed up to fix it. Except for the above issues the stay was pretty good. If you go and are looking for dining options, walk north up the beach to the restaurant next door.
