"Very neat place to stay, up a cliff overlooking the river and large Buddha up in the hills. We had a family suite with two large bathrooms, two bedrooms, two balconies and incredible view. Infinity pool perched on the edge of the property, very cool! Incredible service and excellent food. Up a very steep switchback road, not easy to get there and not easy to get back down from!"

"The good: 1. Owner and cook are nice people. 2. Good view from the room. The bad: 1. You are at the mercy of the staff as this is a remote place. 2. They charged a lot for a very basic breakfast, almost 5 times what you would get outside for better food. 3. No air conditioning and dirty rooms. There was a dead frog in our bathroom. Dust bin was very dirty. 4. The view was blocked by trees. 5. No telephone or credit card in this hotel. They want only cash. There are other properties nearby...

"ACなしの部屋を選びました。部屋は清潔感があり、必要最低限の設備はありました。 エアコンなしでも、シーリングファンで十分快適に寝れました。 上にかけるブランケットなどがなかったですが、欲しいと言ったら出してくれ、親切に対応してくれました。 シャワーはお湯が出るとありがたかったですが、気温が高かったので結果的に大丈夫でした。 個人的には立地が良く、少し歩きますが坂を登るとキャンディの町を眺めるビューポイントがあります。ホテル前には水やお菓子を買える商店があり、近くのローカルな飲食店はどこもおいしかったです。 街の中心から少し離れますが、散歩がてら歩くか、トゥクトゥクならすぐでした。"

"Days Inn is located at the top of a hill which means great views but a long walk up! Our bedroom had a little balcony which was nice and the room was clean. Our bathroom had an open drain and did not smell great which was a downside. The breakfast was fresh fruit and eggs with toast each morning which was well prepared, however we were hoping for more traditional style breakfasts! "
