Nice stay at the Gudvangen Fjordtell before heading up north. It can get busy when a bus rolls in as it is at a crossroads to more of the country. Great location by the water. Was probably a very nice property back in the day, but needs a lot of updating. Historic charm and friendly service. Limited options for restaurants nearby. Breakfast was very good, plentiful options.

Lovely hotel, great location. Only minor complaint is that the room was a bit on the warm side and despite several attempts to change the thermostat we couldn’t get it to cool down. Otherwise happy to recommend
