"Rooms are tiny and not air conditioned. Very dated, unclean. Needs renovation. Staff was helpful and moved us to newer rooms with air conditioning (for $$). Location is really close to the train but not close to much of anything else. Breakfast was excellent."

"The staff is great. The room was the size expected in Paris but had absolutely everything needed. With the heat wave the air conditioning worked extremely well. Location is in a quiet street but absolutely close to everything. Super recommended."

"This hotel is right down the street from Moulin Rouge and is above the historic “Black Cat” (Le Chat Noir) restaurant. The restaurant is great and is always open. The hotel rooms are clean and pretty large for Paris. The security at the hotel is good, as you have to buzz in and use your key to go to a hotel floor. Cleaning staff is efficient. Front desk staff is there 24/7 and are very helpful. This hotel is also just a few minutes’ walk from the cafe where Amèlie worked in the movie."

"We really liked the location, and the hotel was clean and well maintained. The main drawback was that the rooms were quite small and lacked some basic amenities. The bathroom did not include shampoo or conditioner, and there was no iron available in the room. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, but a few additional amenities would have made the experience much more comfortable."

"We stayed at this hotel for our last night in Paris and we wished our stay could’ve been longer. The hotel is very well kept, the rooms were clean, although a little small, very inviting. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable, and the AC goes a long way. My biggest review goes to staff. I stood one night and left in the morning and during my rush of checking out, my partner left my wallet and cash without noticing on the bed. "The only issue and it was minor is that the ground floor rooms and right on the street and you just have to know that. Staff was excellent and rooms were clean, I would stay there again, no issues."

"Clean and simple with the right price tag. There’s AC and an elevator which was a huge help in the middle of this crazy heat wave. Great neighbourhood with cafes and eateries just around the corner, plus walking distance to major landmarks (and larger crowds). Very happy to have stayed here as a solo traveler and would book again."
