Overall Great Experience with a Few Minor Issues
I recently stayed at this hotel and, overall, it was a fantastic experience. The facilities were clean, well-maintained, and had a great atmosphere. Most of the staff were friendly and welcoming, and the highlight for us was the gentlemen at the bar, who went above and beyond with amazing customer service. The gentleman who checked me out was also extremely friendly, kind, and genuinely concerned about our stay—he truly made a difference.
However, I did have a couple of small issues during my visit that I feel are worth mentioning.
First, when checking in, it seemed like the staff were still getting familiar with the system, which was a bit confusing. The elderly woman who checked me in asked to see my ID, and when I presented my US passport, she insisted that I show my driver's license instead. While I understand the need for proper identification, I personally feel that a passport should be a valid form of ID in these situations, especially for international travelers.
