"The pool was out of service with no notice. The toilet seat was broken. The shower leaked. The staff was not very knowledgeable upon check-in. The manager was hard to contact about reserving the conference room. Multiple messages left with no response until two days before we arrived for our 4 night stay. "

"The Nichols is a very nice, comfortable Inn located conveniently to the things we needed (walking distance to a nice local pub, close to pizza place, the Pottery..). The staff were very helpful and kind. The beds were comfy. The breakfast was good -- make tour own waffles, make your own omlet! Plenty of yogurt, pastry, and coffee. We were able to comfortably sit and gab with our relatives in the lobby. We had a great stay."

"We came for just a night away with the kids. They enjoyed the pool, it was just the right size for them to have fun & we could keep an eye on them the entire time. The rooms were clean-ish, but you could tell housekeeping got in and out, random smudges on the walls, some leftover crumbs from other guests.. not the end of the world.. but definitely not the cleanest place. We did have a plumbing issue around 10pm, the tub faucet broke and the water was continuously running. We did have to move rooms, but thankfully the room right next door was open & we moved in over there. The breakfast was a typical free breakfast, no complaints. Overall, it was a good price for what we came for & we’d come again!"
