"Breakfast was very nice. Appreciated all the outdoor seating with the exception of a gentleman sitting close to the lobby entrance smoking. I was on second level and had to move to a different spot to escape smoke odor. Assigned a second level room when checking in and inquired about an elevator. The youth who checked us in just looked at us and said there wasn’t one. It was a last minute, rushed and unplanned trip so I must have overlooked that fact when booking online. We can do stairs but not easily for seniors carrying bags. We made it slowly up the stairs with belongings in tow only to discover there was a drive to an upper parking lot. Really? The kids couldn’t mention that to us? There was an older lady at the desk when we were checking in and she didn’t pipe up and tell us that either. The bathroom needed a little more elbow grease…dirty build up in corners, long dark hair left in tub. They need to install grab bars. The toilet is so low that anyone with bad knees will find it difficult without a grab bar which was our situation. Other than what I mentioned it is a decent place for a fair price. We felt perfectly safe at this property while taking a stroll outside after dark."
