Overall property very clean, nicely decorated. Loved how the hotel smelled when you walked in. Staff friendly, courteous and helpful, especially housekeeping. Never felt so taken care of by housekeeping. Didn’t have room cleaned daily and on those days left bag of towels, toilet paper, Kleenex, coffee, creamer and teas at the door. Highly recommend and would stay here again.

Property was clean and centrally located for our needs. I didn’t like the automatic charge for dining which doesn’t even cover half of the cost for breakfast. There’s incentive to use it because the charge is added regardless, but you end up spending twice its value. Unfair.

We had a wonderful stay at the Capital Hilton. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help, making us feel at home throughout our visit. The hotel’s location is excellent—just a short walk from the White House and many of Washington’s main attractions, making it the perfect base for exploring the city. We would definitely recommend the Capital Hilton to anyone visiting Washington, D.C., and would happily stay here again.

Our room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. I’d love to purchase the same mattress. The hotel was within a short walking distance to the White House. Unfortunately we only found a couple of close restaurants.

Location is ideal. Rooms are impeccably prepared, staff is exceptionally friendly, elevators are timely and efficient, bartenders are cordial and available but not smothering or overbearing.
