"Comfortable room with great shower and deep bath. Room could be better with a coffee machine as Nescafé instant coffee isn’t great. Bed was very comfy and room quiet. We enjoyed our brief stay. Hotel lounge area has bulky chairs that aren’t really very comfortable and they clutter up the room! "

"The property was clean and pre-warmed for our arrival. Check in was effortless and quick although no direction was given for return of keys if departing early. The bed was extremely comfortable A downside was the difficulty in accessing the designated car park; it is too small for medium/large SUVs."

"We had a lovely stay at Reillys Wines Heritage Cottages in Mintaro. The cottage has a charming, rustic feel, and we especially loved the fireplace—it made the evenings so cosy. The wine tasting at Reillys Wine Cellar was excellent, with some great local drops. Breakfast was a nice touch too—everything provided, including local bacon, fresh eggs, mushrooms, tomatoes, fruit, juice, and milk. Very generous and much appreciated. Parking was easy, and the location is fantastic—just a short walk to the Magpie and Stump Hotel for a meal or a drink. The whole area is steeped in history, with beautiful old cottages and churches all around. You’re also close to the rest of the Clare Valley, with its stunning scenery and some great restaurants nearby. That said, I do think the cottage could benefit from a bit of a refurb to freshen things up—it’s full of character, but starting to feel a little tired. Overall, it’s a great base for exploring the Clare Valley and soaking up the heritage and charm of Mintaro"

"Beautiful area and little touches make this a 5 star property. Potbelly stove and plenty of firewood made for a very cosy cottage on a cold night. 5 min drive to Watervale pub and plenty of wineries."

"The whole stay was amazing, the spa, fireplace, private courtyard, the comfy bed and the supplies for breakfast. It was very affordable, close to Clare to visit the wineries and grab some lunch. We will definitely be going back, the perfect retreat without the kids!!!"
