"By far, the thing we liked the best, and should be emphasized, was the property around the hotel - the grounds were very well maintained, with paths not only accompanied by music, but led into areas with fish ponds, waterfalls, and access to a walk through the woods. Our upper deck balcony faced the roving hill areas and often we saw peopl with children, couples or runners, enjoying the paths.
Our room was very clean - it seemed it was freshly painted.
Overall - highly recommend to stay here!"
"I just would like to recommend to the carriage house the steps going upstairs. It was a rainy day and was very scary going up and down because there’s no treads on the steps other than that the place was really great."
"We go to Amish country quite often and have stayed in a variety of places. The Inn was such a welcome surprise. Just the setting/location was worth it.
Room was comfortable - the sheets were fabulous! Room was very clean. Only wish there would have been a fridge in our room (for all of the treats we bought while there).
Highly recommend the Inn!"
"The property overall is outdated. It didn't bother me though because the hotel is very clean. The staff were wonderful. I was checked in right away and before check in time started. The restaurant was closed, but the front desk person went over there to grab me a cup of ice anyway. After getting my key and heading up to the 4th floor (the top floor), we noticed multiple bleach stains on the carpet in the hallway. Our room was spacious but lacked seating. There was a single chair in the corner and then a chair at the table. The bathroom was clean but definitely showed signs of wear and tear. There was a patch placed on the shower wall. The tub water handle was very tricky to use. We spun it around so many times trying to find the hot water setting, half of our stay we never found it and took a cool shower. There was mini fridge in the room that worked well. No microwave unfortunately. I didn't mind the bed firmness, but everyone else in my party said the beds were too firm and uncomfortable. It was a quiet hotel. We didn't hear any noise outside or in the rooms around us. There is a lot to do in the area. You can walk to a gas station and a McDonald's, and cross the street for more food options. Please visit Jenni's bakery across the street. She bakes delicious things. Jenni and her sister are super nice and helpful! I guess I didn't realize there wasn't free breakfast at this hotel. Finding a grocery store or a restaurant wasn't too far of a drive (15 min drive to a Meijer)."
"Wonderful place to stay, excellent location, breakfast would’ve been better with eggs available or more gluten free options but overall would stay again. Great location for walking around to shops and other restaurants. Loves the quilted beds, clean rooms, sliding doors to balcony was awesome, quiet hotel."
"The morning breakfast staff were fantastic. I regret that I did not get the name of the lady who was serving the morning of 10/11/26. She was so sweet and helpful. Food was great and the area was spotless. She told me she had been working there for 11 years..she takes pride in her work. She is also very cheerful and welcoming. Several guests commented about how cheerful she was. Simply delightful!! We were in town for a wedding. Thank you comfort inn staff!! Special thank you to lovely lady who served breakfast. She may have been training another lady..very sweet, kind, thoughtful, and smiling!!!!!"
