"A overnight stay to Silverstone trax day . Previously a premier inn hotel which remains throughout the property. Same interior and furnishings . The rooms had no air conditioning but provided a fan which did not do much . We were in the ground floor , upstairs there was a lot of noise by other guests so bear this in mind. "Second visit to this hotel and an overnight stay. Really comfortable and clean. Friendly staff. Twin room with double beds. Very large and spacious. Ground floor, no outside noise. Air con in room. Don’t forget to register parking on tablet in reception."

"After a disastrous stay in the Northampton Ibis (old, tatty, noisy, hot) I thought I’d give the Mercure a whirl. Fractionally more expensive, it was everything that the Ibis is not. Fresh, up-to-date room, quiet, cool (aircon), comfortable bed. I’ll make the Mercure my new Northants base."
