"Awful experience!!! My husband and I checked in at DoubleTree by Hilton Chengdu - Longquanyi on 9 June. While we were using the lift from 21th floor to Ground floor lobby at night, suddenly the lift(p1) dropped to 14th floor, then dropped to 13th floor again and stopped there. We were stuck in the lift for roughly around 40 minutes. During the period of stuck inside the lift, we both felt unwell and we fearful of our lives, experiencing incomparable pain. "Rooms are large, well furnished and very clean. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful, although I think might not have english speaking staff member that you might find in a large chain hotel. Food is all made by the onsite chef, and while a bit limited in choice, is very tasty and not too expensive.
