"The guesthouse and the host, Brian, were great. Due to a booking error, I was able to book the accommodation even though they were closed. Brian still gave us a warm welcome and upgraded our room free of charge. He gave us tips for a good restaurant and even made a reservation for us! The breakfast was delicious and lovingly prepared. We would definitely recommend this hostel; it was simply fantastic!"

"All went well. My only critique is we had no idea how to get into the house upon arrival, or find the specific house. We were in a foreign country and this was our first house. Having an email sent saying "When you arrive the house looks like this and here is where to find it" would have helped. Also a note saying how to get into the house (We called the owner which took a long time to figure out how to do in a foreign country) and was told house was unlocked and key was inside. "Great stay at the Caledonia hotel. It was a goid visit during our NC500 trip. Staff were all polite and ao helpful. Food for evening meal and breakfast was very good and thoroughly enjoyed. Would defintmitwly recommend this as a palce to stay in Ullapool, very convenient."
