I was disappointed that the place was dirty. There were crumbs in the bed under the comforter. also, hair. The tv didn't work in the first room so they put us in another one. There was no tv guide nor any documentation on attractions in the area. The walls were paper thin. We could hear everything going on in the surrounding rooms.

The receptionist in the evening was very kind and efficient. The room was spacious and had everything we needed. Our only con was the hot tub was down for maintenance and we didn’t know until we went to get in it, so a little bummer. Overall a great stay though!

There was no bathmat, no hand soap, no extra toilet roll, one of the 2 mirrors in the bathroom was dirty, there was hairs stuck to the shower wall and bathroom door and food was gathered behind and under the trash can. This place is in desperate need of upgrading and maintainance.

seems to be slipping.

Some mold in bathroom tub. Ladder in the hallway our whole visit.(less than 24 hours.) Desktop computer in the dinning area not working. Toilet in dining area ran about 30 seconds to flush. Bug in bathroom.Dinning area for breakfast was pretty clean and a good meal. Hotel staff was friendly. Might need to stay elsewhere our next visit to the city.

Great location for Obelbay. The hot tub was broken and we were very disapointed. The breakfast options were not great, only one type of yogurt and muffins. Not much grab and go. Would have liked some granola or breakfast bars.

The room had a bad smell, the shower did not work properly(water would fill the bottom part of the tub), out of coffee and creamer every time I went to the coffee area. Heater only blew cold air, room was freezing and uncomfortable bed. Would not return.

The room was ok. Staff were very nice. But the price was double for what I've paid for similar accommodations in other cities and this location did not seem to be anything special. The breakfast was terrible. I was told the grease trap was clogged so they had this makeshift breakfast as they couldn't actually cook. It was completely unappealing - toaster waffles and bread slices in Ziploc bags as an example. We went to a restaurant.

It was a fairly nice hotel but there were some problems. We had no hot water on one day. A towel rack was broken. The windows are all clouded due to broken seals in the double panes. The staff was very friendly and tried to help us during our stay.

I’ve stayed at this hotel twice now, both times for 6 or 7 nights, and I’ve been very impressed with how helpful and friendly the staff members are as well as how nicely kept the facility is. The rooms both stays were very well cleaned when I arrived and any housekeeping that I requested was taken care of in a very timely manner. Easy check-in/out, great location if you’re visiting someone who lives more centrally in Wheeling or if you have to do business in town. I particularly like how the hotel and parking are located back off of the main road and up a curvy hillside. It makes it seem much more safe and secure, as the hotel itself is barely visible from the main road it’s on, and the parking lot cannot be seen unless you’re physically in it, so I didn’t feel uncomfortable about my rental cars, nor would i feel uncomfortable parking a personal vehicle there during a stay. Will be staying there again next time I’m in town.

Worn bed, couch was not clean, shower had very little pressure and the plunger in the bathtub spout would not pull up to totally redirect the water to the shower head. Toilet would run until you jiggled the handle. There was also mold in the bathtub.

They do not clean the rooms daily. The pool is kind of gross, murky. Kids screaming up and down the hallway while I was taking a call. Room falling apart and carpet pulling up.
