"Whomever was above us was so very loud until late at night after midnight and back again around 5am Sounded like a heard of elephants who kept running back and forth. We were really only there to sleep and that was it. Somewhere to lay down our heads. But didn’t get much sleep because of the noise above"

"Overpriced"

"The property is old and does not have an elevator so bear that in mind. The room smelt stale so bought an air freshener. No phone in the room to contact the front desk and room cleaning was only if you asked. No food service onsite Monday to Wednesday but did have complementary coffee, tea, muffins and yogurt. Being on a lake was lovely and very convenient to all highways. The Inn has so much potential just needs to be addressed."

"We loved the property. Easy to get to from the airport and convenient for getting around for sightseeing. Also featured a Tim Hortons and gas station on site. The room was modern and clean. We would definitely recommend it to others!!!"

"There was construction going on from morning until 8pm every day even on the weekend. The wifi was terrible. They don't have ice/water. The room"

"Unable to secure room with my visa. Had to call a friend to come there and use theirs. beer cost 2x more than downtown bars They try to keep selling you food at the bar with every drink. Even if you say not ordering tonight. Extra unexplained charge on the room on top of the room price... I wont be back."

"Limited selection for breakfast but the waffle station is a big plus. Many other dining options around hotel and you get a Jack Astors discount with your stay. Room was clean and was kept neat."

"Breakfast was amazing, rooms were clean and spacious. Location was great to get to Halifax activities. We rented a car so the drive was not hard or far to get to the waterfront. Would definitely stay again. Great value for price."

"The room was a great size, super clean and felt modern and safe. The breakfast was second to none! Fresh, warm, with many choices. Even gluten free bread! Lots of fruit, yogurt, bagels, toast, waffles, pancakes, cinnamon rolls right out of the oven and kept warm, etc, etc. And such comfortable seating. Highly recommend"

"The room was clean and the hotel was in good shape. There was lots of parking but it did take a while to get there from downtown Halifax. It was about a 25 minute drive but it was raining. The bed was comfortable and although the room was a little dated it was fine. It even had a pool but we were only there for the night."
