"I had requested two rooms with two queen size beds each. Upon arrival, we were given one room with two beds & one room with a king size bed. No excuse, I was told that that was how it was transmitted. (not correct). In our room, there was only one hand towel and one face towel. Two bath towels only. "Okay so. Staff were kind and friendly so I was conflicted when writing this review. I reserved 2 rooms. 1 was fine but the other smelled like mildew. We kept the bathroom fan running and the window ajar but couldn’t escape the odor. Possible the room was closed up after shampooing carpets, not sure. The bathroom did appear to have mildew along the floor at bathtub. I’m sure they would have given us a new room and in reflection, I’m not sure why I didn’t ask. Prob tired from the trip. "The check in staff member was nice and friendly, but after she left the rest of employees were short and loud due to being disturbed from their computer screen. This was my first time visiting this Best Western in Clear Lake. As a member I've never been denied a continental breakfast. The food was being prepared for a church group only and had a closed sign outside the door. Luckily I found breakfast a cross the street at Grandpa's Cafe. It's a shame to give this Best Western a lacking review...

"This was the worst experience I ever had at a hotel. Walked into the room and it smelled like cigarette smoke the toilet was not cleaned and had splatter in it. If that wasn’t enough the water did not work and was unable to take a shower. Asked for a refund and was given the run around and ultimately given a whopping 9 dollar. Avoid This hotel at all costs. There are many others to choose from don’t choose this one "

"affordable, especially if you just are passing through and needing a place to sleep. beds are clean floor is dark and carpeted but the room didnt smell bad. They have air in the water lines though. Shower hissed and rumbled at times."
