Wir kamen sehr spät, aufgrund verspäteter Züge an u konnten das Zimmer leider nicht mehr zum Schlafen nutzen, jedoch zum Duschen etc... An der Rezeption gab es aber auch irgendwelche Probleme, da das Zimmer augenscheinlich nicht im Vorhinein hergerichtet wurde, somit mussten wir um ca 2:30 Uhr, bis knapp vor 3 Uhr warten. "I was able to check in online before I arrived at The Kicking Dickey. The staff were very helpful and friendly along with the pub which I thought was very welcoming. My room was at the rear of the property so away from any noise. The room itself was comfortable and well maintained, I think it might of been a converted stable. Nice functional bathroom with a shower and a very comfortable single bed. Lots of free parking outside the property. All in all well worth a stay."

"The rooms are clean but lack basics. No water in the rooms. You cannot get food after 10pm. The jacuzzi is designed to kill you. There is so much chlorine it feels like a gas chamber. Its awful. Its supposed to be relaxing but you leave crying. The sauna and steam rooms are great. The swimming is good and perfect temperature. I asked one of the staff to reduce the amount of chlorine but she just said its not my job. She looked like the cleaner. The lady at the spa Danielle was just great. She...

"We stayed for one night in an annex. Room was comfortable and clean with a few minor niggles e.g. the lock on the bathroom. Breakfast was a good choice of cold and hot options. Worth booking in advance for a discount. Location was good, easy walk into Mildenhall where there are plenty of cafes and restaurants. We would stay again if in the area."

"Decent hotel, not as close to Stanstead as initially expected, but there is a very handy regular shuttle bus to and from the airport. Only downside is that the rooms are very noisy, you can definitely hear what sounded like planes taking off well in to the night."

"It would be easy to mention a few negatives....but I'm not going to as staff dealt with these rather well. Huge praise for the young lady (Bob) who appears to single-handedly run the bar, restaurant, & hotel reservations. Food was very good, so compliments to the chef. We would certainly return."

"Great, basic place to stay. I have only ever stayed one night. The gardens are lovely and I particularly like that you can walk to the Plough through the fields (and back via road if dark). Also Blue Diamond garden centre 5 min walk away too. Cambridge park and ride 5 mins in other direction. No breakfast available at Hotel any more. Check in at 4.00pm perhaps the only negative."
