"Good location, clean and tidy, good sleep."

"A generally fine stay with some real positives: the staff were lovely, the room had good facilities, the bed was very comfortable once I remade it, and the view across the park was great. It was also quiet, and the air‑con made it easy to get the temperature right. A few things let it down: the décor felt a bit tired, shower sealant was peeling, the carpet was stained, and the kettle was scaled and awkward to fill. The main issue was the bed presentation — several inches of mattress were left exposed on both beds because the sheets hadn’t been pulled up far enough, which didn’t feel very hygienic. Overall, decent, but could be improved with more attention to detail."

"Great hotel in a good central location"

"Modern and clean hotel - bedroom well appointed and spacious. Bed very comfortable. Great location for the town centre and the Crucible! Breakfast felt a bit scrappy - lot of tables were left with dirty plates etc and a few items seemed to have run out and not been replaced. We visited the bar twice for a nightcap and it was a nice relaxed place for a late drink. Only issue we had was the strength of the scented air in the bedrooms - it was so strong. If you are sensitive to scent then this wouldn't be ideal and I'm not sure why it's necessary!"

"Large, clean rooms which were quiet. The hotel is in a good location and near plenty shops and eateries. The breakfast selection was varied and the food hot."

"Nice friendly staff the room was nice basic breakfast the dinner was average free carparking nice swimming pool and spa was cold not heating up sauna and steam room was working. "

"Very small room but was clean. For the price it was ok. You have to pay to park which I don’t like, but there was a few on road parking spaces for free. "

"You get what you pay for but what there is was decent. Loses a mark for mould marks on shower ceiling but cannot fault rest of hotel. Breakfast very basic but what food there was hot and edible and the bar/restaurant area is lovely."

"The room was spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable. We arrived at breakfast after 9am (10am finish) and the hot offering was a bit depleted but there was something of everything except eggs, which a member of staff cooked extra for us. We would definitely stay again."
