Good for price

Only stayed 2 nights and it was very nice for the price. I suppose a common problem in the Chinese hotels is that they don't care booking smokers on a non smoking floor so the air quality is not only poor outside it is also poor in the hotel as they turn a blind eye to the blatant smokers inside. Staff are very friendly but not many speak English. Room was clean and spacious.

交通便利, 臨近通化門站B出口。晨早的飛機也容易乘到的士。前往兵馬俑博物館307巴士的巴士也往快捷。

Hotel Location is good. -hotel itself not great

We were in a group of 17 persons- booked the Horizon Club room which to our disappoint does not hold up to what it says. There are no amenities, rooms are outdated. Need cleaning and looks dull. We had stayed there before it change hands under Shangri La which is why I brought another group to stayed at this hotel. Unfortunately it longer give great service for Horizon club even you pay more for the room. No one speaks English for a suppose 4 star hotel which looks more like a 2 star. After discussion with the manager with the help of our guide we manage to get some appetizers to eat and a couple of wine glasses. We will never booked this hotel again ever if the group visit Xian.

Hotel location is good.

My group was very disappointed with the hotel. I had booked 10Horizon club rooms for my group and I find that they do not provide extra amenities for the Horizon club. If that was the case I will not have used this hotel. in 2015 I took my group there and it was wonderful. Excellent service and they spoke English. This is why I had booked the same hotel for this group. We had such difficult time in getting our room assigned and finally after discussion with the manager who spoke no English that he was willing to provide the some appetizers and wine for the group for one hour This is because we have a Chinese assistant who help us in translation. Unfortunately it change ownership and they have not maintained the former great service. I will only it a barely 2 star hotel.. .

Hotel is in a good area, close to sites.

The hotel is within 20 minutes of most sites in the city. The staff are really helpful and mostly speak English. On the downside the hotel hasn't been remodeled in 30 years so the furniture is a bit outdated but is fine. Bathroom has a tub which I haven't seen in hotels in years. The breakfast is a huge spread with a lot of variety.
