The staff were all extremely nice and helpful. We were here for a few days and our stay was quiet and relaxing. Have stayed here before and would stay again if we are ever in the area.😊

This was an average hotel room. Nothing fancy but fairly clean. It gets the job done for a couple days. I did have an issue with my shower that was never fixed after I talked to the front desk about it so that was disappointing.

Front desk was the only staff we encountered and she was great. After check in and cleaning up we went for dinner only to find two sheriffs officers arresting some young man in our parking lot outside our room window. Could be an isolated incident.

The quiet location was fabulous. The lack of dinnerware is baffling being that this is an extended stay hotel so it should be INCLUDED not a "for fee" item. As well as, unfortunately, there was roaches in the room which was horrifying to say the least. If I wasn't tired, I would have tried to refund my money and go to another hotel. But I must say, that those 2 negatives put a damper on an otherwise pretty good hotel. The location was great, nice quiet area, near shopping and restaurants. Stayed 4/14/24

When we had come to stay at the extended stay it was because we were displaced from our house for work to be done. We have a dog, so of course we had to find proper accommodations. Here there was a bolt sticking up from the ground without any covering on it, walls were paper thin, and people were strung out on drugs coming in and out (could be patrons). Definitely did not feel safe here. This will be my first and last stay here.

I stayed because this use to be a Marriott property but the service was horrible. My room was not equipped with the cookware. I also didn’t get bedding for the pullout and when I asked for the bedding they said it was all dirty. Apparently there is never clean linen. Night auditor was rude. Overall just a horrible stay. Never again

Floor was sticky. Towels were left from the previous stay. Nothing to by in little store to eat or cook. Didn’t sleep at all upstairs was a family living with a bunch of kids that started at 6am through the whole day. It sounded like they were running back and forth and jumping off the bed. It was horrible. Stepped in dog poop as as we got there. No one cleaned it up. We traveled 7 hours to get there and could not wait to leave.

Great after check in
Check in was an issue with wrong info in system. Also $50/day "damage deposit." After that, it was a nice visit. Rooms clean and well provisioned.

ROACHES WERE BAD!!!! Won't let me post pics.
I had stayed 2 separate times. The 1st time our room didn't have lights in the bathroom. Maintenance came 3 days later to put our light bulbs in. While she way there she noticed that the stool wasn't working right. She told me she would be back to fix it and didn't that same night it overflowed extremely bad from the bathroom to the bed. I had to stay in that room overnight then got moved next door. The 2nd room had a few roaches ok fine I feel any place you go may have a few roaches. We checked out and returned 1 day later. We were placed in a different room different building. Now that room had alot of roaches. I killed 18, not including the 1 that was in the fridge. It wasn't there when I put my food in the fridge. I went to the front desk and my options were to get a refund or move to another room. I told her that whats the possibility of seeing more. She said we can't guarantee that you won't seeany in that room. She did offer me my money back, but it was Thanksgiving what were my chances of finding another room on a holiday. We stayed until the end of our stay, and went and stayed at a different hotel. I only had 1 issue with the staff. There were 2 people in my room. I would go down to get my breakfast. I always got 2 muffins and 2 oatmeal. The front desk clerk said I can only get 1. I said but its 2 in my room. He said that he has to come get it his self. I feel if you have upto and including 4 guest in your room then you should be able to grab enough for your 4 peopl

Lovely staff and nice environment. My problem was that our 1st night there were no lights in the bathroom and over the table. It took 3 days to fix it. When maintenance came to the room she noticed the stool didn't work properly, she said she'll come back to fix it and she didn't. The stool ened up over flowing a little more than half the room that same night. We moved to a 2nd room that was fine. We checked out and came back, our room was full of roaches. I even woke up to one crawling on me and one in the fridge which I have a pic of. I moved again I say and killed 2 roaches. 1 or 2 roaches I can understand but to kill 18 in one room horrible.

Flea-ridden hotel!
filthy hallways, looks like they've never heard of a vacuum. charged $25 pet fee plus $10 cleaning fee just for my dog to get fleas! what is the point of the pet fees if you don't use the money to properly clean the room? oh, that's right ... it's an extra charge that goes directly into your pocket! now I get to spend extra money on flea medicine too! never in 18 years of pet ownership have I had a pet get fleas. we've stayed at so many hotels and never had this issue before. CLEAN YOUR HOTEL.

Extremely rude employee
Check in went well, the room was nice and mostly clean. There was chicken bones under the bed and dog kibble under the couch. On check out day an employee started banging on my door at 10am. She kept coming back, they called the room and hung up. She finally came back and wouldn't stop banging on the door until I opened it. This occurred 45 minutes before the check out time, this is utterly ridiculous. She was extremely rude and unprofessional.

This property is independently managed and licensed as an Extended Stay. There are no elevators, the halls smell horrible, the rooms are dirty and not stocked with even the essentials (no soap, shampoo, and only 1 toilet paper). The kitchen cabinets were broken and there were no utensils of any kind. Save your time and books somewhere else.

Management sucks and Extended Stay in Yorktown
My daughter needed a place to stay with her 5 children and her dog.til she finds an apt. We were told that we could extend daily, weekly or monthly but when I needed to extend her room for Sat june 3, we were told it was booked. We was already booked for Fri 6/3 and Sunday 6/4. We were told we had to leave and come back Sunday June 4, 2023. We were already at the hotel from May 25, 2023 June 2, 2023. The manager told her she have to remove all her belongs, her children and dog for one day and come back the next Sunday. You dont treat people with so little regard especially paying customers. I paid for two rooms and i expected to be treated with respect, dignity, and compassion especially from managerment. I will not recommend this Extended Stay in Yorktown, Va to any of my friends and family if this is how manager interact customers. I need to be compensate for the unsettling matter this was handled. Technically Extended Stay in Yorktown put my daughter and her 5 childrrn and dog out in the street.

I’ve should have known when I called and the lady told me they overbooked our room. The smell in the hallway is so gross , smells like a cat litter box and urine , the beds are very uncomfortable, the toilet seat was not tight, the pull out had stains all over it . The “breakfast included” was a packet of oatmeal and 1 just 1 packet of muffin per guest. I say spend the extra 20 and stay elsewhere.

Don’t Stay Here
The building smelled really bad. No towels available. Police had to come because of people were fighting and had guns, didn’t feel safe. Had to buy cleaning supplies to clean room. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, this hotel should be taken off hotels.com

Everyone was friendly and the faculty in general was good, but they did not have breakfast nor any extra pillows.
