"The attic rooms, which are expensive, are not fit for purpose in hot weather. No air-con, of course, but you can barely open the windows. The sun blasts on to the roof just above and creates an oven! The provided fan was little help. Very bad night's sleep. The unhelpful receptionist told me that the hot room was due to the heat. I asked if we could swap rooms, but he said the hotel was fully booked, despite a portable sign outside saying 'Rooms available tonight'.
Breakfast was very poor....
"An excellent breakfast, but the croissants appeared to be taken out of a freezer and not cooked! The staff thought that was how they should be put out to eat.. Quite a mystery...
Otherwise everything else was fine and we will stay again."
"My wife and I had an amazing stay at House Arundel. From the moment we arrived we were made feel welcome and at home by Rosie and James. It's perfectly situated to make the most of the beautiful town and all it has to offer. We look forward to returning in the the future"
