While trying to resolve the issue through the Hotels.com chat, I discovered that my reservation had been mistakenly cancelled—without any prior notice or communication from the property. I was left with no assistance from the hotel, and shortly after leaving, I was involved in a car accident. Thankfully, Hotels.com provided excellent support throughout the situation. "Opção para quem vai chegar ou pegar voo do aeroporto do Recife. Acredito que poderiam caprichar um pouco mais na limpeza. Após as 23h eles fecham as portas, mas não me informaram isso no check in, eu cheguei 23:15h sem saber e fiquei 5 min do lado de fora na Av Mascarenhas de Morais batendo, tentando entrar, ligar, na chuva e em meio aos moradores de rua, com a minha filha pequena."
