Not perfect like u can tell it was done on the cheaper side regards renovation but still modern and nicer than most other hotels I’ve stayed in.. overall great experience and I would stay here again. "The Algar is central to all the local bars, shops and restaurants. The apartments are basic and would benefit from updating but clean and provide a good base. We always chose a balcony view which allows us to eat and drink as we like if we don’t want to eat out, and certainly makes up for any basic amenities. Staff are always friendly and have been there many years . "

From the moment we arrived we were treated exceptionally well by our brilliant host Catarina, with excellent communication, and attention to detail. Apartment with sea view and balcony was fabulous, and had been completely renovated to the highest standards you could expect! Top location as we have stayed in the area a number of times before and this has to the best so far! "
