"The Algar is central to all the local bars, shops and restaurants. The apartments are basic and would benefit from updating but clean and provide a good base. We always chose a balcony view which allows us to eat and drink as we like if we don’t want to eat out, and certainly makes up for any basic amenities. Staff are always friendly and have been there many years . "

Apartment with sea view and balcony was fabulous, and had been completely renovated to the highest standards you could expect! "The apartment was not the cleanest & we had no hot water for two days. After trying several times to numbers that were not in service or no one answered we finally got ahold of someone at the management company who sent over a serviceman to fix the problem. There was a terrible smell in the bathroom most of the time not sure where it was coming from possibly the drains. The building itself was very tired & not clean inside or out would have been nice to use the pool but didn’t feel comfortable...
