"It was OK, not worth the room for the money. My friend got a better room with Travel lodge for the same price.
Staff were friendly. Near to city centre and easy access to amenities.

"The staff were very welcoming even when we arrived very late (23:50) somewhat wet and bedraggled after a horrendous drive in the rain up the M6. We were met with an understanding smile and given clear directions to our room. The room was clean and warm with a comfortable bed. The room overall was a little tired. We would be happy to stay again."

"Very helpful staff. Reasonable sized room and comfortable bed. But tepid shower, missing plug in the sink, not that clean, dodgy looking wiring for the TV (even though it had an in date PAT test sticker. Very convenient for the station and buses. car park nearby for only £6/day (we didn't need to use it). One floor was undergoing refurbishment so maybe some of this stuff will be sorted out in due course"

🙁No fire plan, no safe, no room info or QR code-gave up trying to get the TV to work and no one on reception to ask.No housekeeping visit at all was odd? Bathroom needs deep clean of tiles, taps or preferably refurbished as bath chipped and holes in tiles from previous fittings very poorly filled. Paint chips on the furniture. "Only stayed one night to go to a concert. Said check in from 3pm but when I arrived at 4pm room was not ready. No air-conditioning in room but it was big & beds looked clean but whole place is in need of decorating. Lift was out if order. Kettle in room but only two mugs for three people. Had to ask a couple of times to get an extra mug. Did not use bath or shower over bath as didn't look clean. Towels are provided but no toiletries. Pub next door was good for a drink beforehand but doesn't do...
