"Wonderful alberque. Be prepared for a bit of a different experience. To help eliminate unwanted bed bugs, which hitch a ride on pilgrims bags, your gear is stored in lockers downstairs and a laundry basket provided to bring up what's needed. Your gear in the locker is secured by a key and another locker upstairs as well. The beds are made and the shower, sink, toilet ratio per person is excellent. "The specific setup was quite nice a an interesting change of pace. But I was imagining something like maybe a dozen or two campsites with some trees, etc. But this camping area is like a huge rectangular parking lot. Probably more than 100 sites with virtually no trees. Not necessarily bad but it was the opposite of tranquil. "

"The location of this small hotel allows you to explore Luarca by foot. We could park our car in front of the hotel entrance (end of May) Rooms are well equipped and comfortable. We did not have breakfast there since we were only for a night and left early for a coffee in town and a long walk up the hills for the views. Can definitely recommend."
