"We had a great stay. It was a city break with my two children and we really enjoyed the experience. The CoalShed has real character and was a great place to hang out with my kids and use as a base to explore all the great stuff on offer in Bristol. "Convenient position, near bus stop for city centre, but walkable. Clean but could do with modernisation. Basic amenities in room but a small fridge would be useful. Plenty of fresh milk, water and apples in the hall but that meant two flights of narrow stairs to negotiate, and no chance of keeping the milk cold. Didn't see any information about bus times or places of interest and there was nowhere to sit down in the room except on the bed. It wasn't a huge problem for us as the good weather...

"It was such a pleasure to stay at Willow Ridge for a couple of nights. Lisa's communication before the stay was really helpful with getting me checked in. A very friendly lady who checked that I had everything I needed. I stayed in the King room, which was beautiful decorated, with a balcony window to look at outside and the most comfortable bed (I liked the Peacock duvet set). I fully recommend anyone to stay here. You won't regret it."

"I would say having more switches in the room would be good. One side of the bed din't have an appropriate switch at all... there was only one table lamp for the entire room. One of the lamps was plugged into a faulty plug and the bulb blew. The shower water was way too hot and I couldn't tone it down. Generally a bit noisy but to be expected in the Inn."
